In addition to the expanded retail shop, we designed Dedalus a bar that enhanced the natural beauty of the space, and facilitated their ability to connect with customers.

Dedalus started out as a small back-room wine shop in Burlington. They quickly outgrew their space and needed to expand to house their impressive collection of indie wines from all over the world.

Imagine that you’re driving down NY-73 in Lake Placid, New York. You see the sign for an unremarkable, Adirondack style pub. It doesn’t look like much, but you pull over anyway.

The Russian Banya we designed and built on Lake Dunmore was the very first project we completed as a company, as well as the most extensive project in terms of scope.

The Otter Creek Brewing Tasting Room in Middlebury was the first commercial job we took on as a company. We designed a tasting room that reflected Otter Creek’s funky, dynamic brand, and showed off their process.

With most companies, we’ve had to build up trust over time, but a few have hired us on a leap of faith. The latter is true of Stonecutter Spirits, a local Vermont spirits company that proudly ages their gin and whisky here in Middlebury.
