Adventure Dinners

Project Type:

Special projects; custom furniture and unique experiences

We have been lucky to have been a part of the Adventure Dinners series since its inception in 2015.  The best way to describe these special events is to point to the description on the Adventure Dinner website – www.adventuredinner.com.  Each event, we are tasked with building a table to sit upwards of 60 guests.  Often, the Adventure Dinner locations have no power and are located amongst the rolling hills and mountains of Vermont.  Not only do the tables need to be long and sturdy, but they also need to be level so that participants can enjoy an elegant dinner.

“Adventure Dinners are speakeasy-style gatherings in unexpected places. We collaborate with other Vermont makers and local food producers to create dining experiences unlike any other. Be prepared to be on your toes; RSVP to a dinner and you’ll get the exact starting location texted 24 hours before the event.”

Fire, cocktails, sunset–this is the summer fete you’ve been dreaming would happen. Guests arrive at a Cornwall orchard and receive a map to explore the farm as one only hopes–wandering through a maze of old apple trees to discover feasts hidden between the groves.

Starting with clambake a la plancha–a tantalizing combination of sea and fire–and ending with a sit-down feast facing the Adirondacks at dusk, this is a meal and adventure you won’t want to miss.

Flower Farm

Organic flowers, treasure hunts and lamb roasts–oh my! Your evening starts with arrival at an idyllic flower farm tucked into central Vermont, and there your adventure awaits.

You’ll set off into the woods, finding your way with new friends and gathering treasure as you go. Once you emerge from the hunt you’ll find Chef Matt and crew roasting lamb open air, and the flower feast will begin. So much more planned, but none to be revealed.

Grab your favorite fall flannel and join us for a barn feast like you’ve never seen! Follow our directions through the woods to arrive at a small slice of farm heaven. You’ll start with a trek through pastures and over creeks, emerging on the heritage homestead site when the farm was founded hundreds of years ago.
